Very Eventful Weekend I Must Say

First of all, February 20th, 2009 will go down in my books as one of the greatest moments in my life. My name was said on the radio, DURING PRIMETIME on WKYS!!! I'm still in shock at the situation. That was just the tip of the iceberg to my weekend. Here's the recap...
24 on Thursday.....Place looks nice and all but things are a lil off....Highlight:: B.P Cooper's 1st party at the age of 21...

FUR on Friday and the theme was Mardi Gras.....*thumbs up* lol.....Alot went down that night....I spun for majority of the night (killed it)....and actually got to party a lil bit (won't be seein any pics of that).....My boy DiddyRock got a lil too f**ked up and was "walked" outside for fresh air....but overall it was a good night.
Saturday was my debut as the "Headliner"(this was the one aired on the radio!!!) @ DC Star. If you don't know where this club is.....its the same place as the DC Tunnel, and Envy.....so yea. The party was great....bunch of drunk and hot girls lol....my only thing about it was.....IT WAS TOO LONG.......not really but it caught me off guard....didn't know it was goin to 4am.....(10pm-4am.....thats that [good] wreckless shit right there)....I advise everyone to come if you wanna get it in and not have to worry about what dress to rock, if you can get in wit this Ed Hardy Tee or not, can you do jeans, etc lol......but wait my night is not over.....
Yes that is chicken on the grill, in the middle of the night, IN FEBRUARY.....talk about impatient.....But lemme backpedal a lil bit.....After DC Star ended, my partna DJ Trigga, told me about a party around the corner.....little did I know, it was in a CHURCH!!!! Sunday morning and there is so much SIN in there. Weed, Alcohol, Rude Dancing, Cursing, and I think I saw a lil nudity lol. SMH....Oh and come to find out, it was a "concert".....Charlie Blacks (Buddy Buddy) performed that night.....it was actually entertaining to me....

Sidenote: Glad TNT Carnival is over now....I was hating so hard that I wasn't down there.....2010 tho...I up in dat!!

Betta Vol. 1", and I'm going on record to say that my boy has went certified HOOD GOLD (as far as DMV mixtapes go). 1000 downloads in under 4 days.....nuff said. What A Weekend

Alright, so I woke up this morning and my president was a different color lol....So happy that this is finally OVER!!! Much love to the Obamas but damn get all these randoms out my area....I can't even get to my gig on time messin wit yall...now for the recap.

Friday: While Ron Browz was at FUR (someone tell me how that was), The fam along with myself were at American Univ. gettin ready to do some damage. Friday night was for the Deltas and all I can say is..........they party hard and wild lol.....Happy belated founders day to DST. Nothing really went wrong that night.....maybe a lil tussle close to the end but that was it. Few Kappas stopped by tellin me to be ready for Saturday....funny thing is I was ready but they didn't expect what happened to happen.

Saturday: Back @ American Univ. The party started off how every other AU party goes. Doors opened at 10 and a few people trickled in....aight cool. By 10:45, things got a lil crazy.....I dunno if someone had coach buses out there or something but it seemed like 200 came in all at once. Thats what happens when you're party is only $1 until midnight. Howard was HEAVY in there that night. Shoutouts to GW, UMD, GMU, UDC, uh........MSU, BSU, thats all I could think of....if I forgot you, my bad......long story short tho....people got to the point that they rushed the door (all to party wit Uneek....so cool) and the Kappas shut that shit down.....when it was all said and done...I think I was told about 700 people were in attendance inside and outside.....wow....I just like to think everyone that was there came because I was spinning....yea I know its not tru but damnit I wanna think so lol. SORRY STASIA, I GOT YOU THE NEXT PARTY, PROMISE.

Sunday: I went car shoppin.....still no luck yet

Monday: Pasara Lounge looks really nice inside but they need a sound engineer....namely ME. I got to spin along side Geometrix....now if you aren't familiar with that name, you lunchin.....dude is nice....he is more on the "pop, techno-ish" side but he still can rip some biggie and pac. Much respect to him.....but yea I spun and was shuttin shit down (shoutouts to LGI for the opp. by the way) and then my set started humming.....and instead of tryna fix it they just shut me off...so eff em lol...

I'm currently in the house drinkin some shit to clean my system out....Procedure is tomorrow and after thats out the way....Killing some food, Big Fun @ Republic, Stupid Fun @ FUR......Until then

As most of you all may know, I'm always on the move. Whether it be working the day job, working the club scene, or going out with friends and fam. In between all that, I have to make sure that my body is 100%. I've been in and out of the hospital since December 08 and I figured I'd inform those who would like to know whats up (mainly because I'm kinda tired of answering hundreds(more like 20) of people a day as to whats wrong).

I have Crohn's disease...(pause for the comments lol). Aight, Crohn's is an imflammatory disease that happens in the GI tract (throat, stomach, intestines). I've been diagnosed with Crohn's since October 2001. Whenever I have a flare up(whenever I'm rushed to the hospital) its because my instestines have swollen shut and my stomach start expanding past capacity. Sucks, I know. THIS ISN'T A SYMPATHY NOTE, MESSAGE, ENTRY, ETC...JUST SOMETHING IMFORMATIVE. Always wanted to do that lol(PSA type shit

I'm recouping from another flare up right now...I'M ALRIGHT FOLKS...STILL PARTYING FROM THURSDAY-TUESDAY LOL....on hella pills but hey thats life....gotta take it how it is....Don't know what could happen tomorrow....Probably explains why I'm always so humble *shrug*.....Just figured I'd share.

Happy New Year!!!!!

Quick recap of NYE: Biggest event that I've done so far....2000+ in the Grand Hyatt (didn't know they had rooms that big)...everyone had a good time...some people let the liquor get the best of them but ah well...it is what it is....saw alot of the same dresses too lol...Bless up Lorenzo Lauren, NXLevel, and Fillup Banks for the opportunity.

Don't think I just slept after that....cuz as soon as I woke up in January(lol like i was in a coma) had to get ready for the Republic

Republic: I'll be honest...I didn't think it was gonna be good seeing that it was the day after NYE of course. Figured everyone had their pockets raped but the good guys at MME and Danno Ent. shut me up real quick....Sick turnout....wave of people as far as my eyes could see....and uh bottles poppin out the ass...Fun night overall...made some new friends along the way....oh and the crowd was a W.I crowd!!! (west indian if you didn't know)

FUR: I'll be honest once again...I thought I was gettin punished for wearing nike boots or sometihng cuz I was in the Mink...nobody really knows where the Mink is for some reason so I wasn't expecting main arena capacity (for the size of the room that is) but damnit wit 3000+ people in one place it was bound to happen....my room was packed and I got to play any and everything....I was playin so well I got hit on a few times lol...."hey, you are good, give me your number". First of all....smh....I'm a blogger....aight here we go

Last week was crazy for me....The Republic and FUR.....only two spots but let me say this: THAT SHIT IS FUN...and now for the recap.

The Republic: That was my 3rd week playing there and it is on its way to be a big spot on Thursday nights...My brother from another, DJ Korrect, came through and ripped it along wit me...Had the crowd losing their minds and from what I was told, the bar ran out of MOET......wait...HOW CAN YOU BE AN ESTABLISHED CLUB AND NOT COME PREPARED....like they made a drink run to the liquor store and bought just a handful of bottles....naw son, not like that....DMV was in there heavy so that meant that I had no choice but to "Take Em 2 Church" for a lil bit......oh and don't think I didn't play Gucci....In result of this bomb ass night...I went to the day job tired as hell and slept for maybe an hour on the clock(not literally)

FUR: STUPID PACKED!!!!!!!....and in the main room all night...........ME!! I coulda cried (actually took a second to see if I was really gonna do it but nothing)...I'm talkin from 11pm-3am, it was me and a bunch of people I didn't know just partying like it was Obama that threw a shoe at Bush. I finally got my chance to play "Bricks" in the main so I did along wit "Shirt Off"....had to do it....I played gogo too, of course, but I guess it was a lil OD....never had my spot put on the line before...I didn't understand at first but it made (business) sense afterwards....I think I'll just play it safe and leave the "hard stuff" elsewhere

I'm done.(most I've typed in a while......headed back to school in 09 tho)
